Civic Engagement Week

Civic Engagement Week is here! Beginning Monday, September 16th, students can participate in a variety of events to get more involved!

Events:

Art Gallery and Writing Contest

  • Starting Monday, art will be displayed in the Student Center throughout the week. Students can then vote for their favorite pieces.

Voter Registration Day

  • September 17th is Voter Registration day. At the Student Center from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. students can come register to vote, learn about the upcoming election, as well as ask any questions they have about the process.

WSA Day

  • Wednesday, September 18th is WSA day. Join us at the Student Center from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. for some WSA trivia and prizes.

The Michigan Secretary of State Mobile Office

  • Thursday, students again can come register to vote, learn about early voting dates and about the upcoming election.

Food Drive with the Faunce Food Pantry

  • Students can find containers around the student center and donate non-perishable food items on Friday, September 20th.

Accepted/Popular items: canned food, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and pasta sauce.
