Western Student Association Elections

Every facet of the Western Student Association seeks to enshrine all WMU students as the primary benefactors and beneficiaries of their Student Association.

We are given none so great an opportunity to validate this commitment than our annual elections.

We humbly ask that you excercise your vote and tell us how we can better serve you.

Election Promotions Committee (EPC)

The Election Promotions Committee (EPC) is responsible for holding a free and unbiased election each year during the Spring Semester. They serve to promote the election in a neutral, unbiased, and nonpartisan manner. The EPC will publish all notable information on this page so as to keep the student body informed of current elections.

Presidential Debate: Feb 22, 2023, at 7:00 pm

Election Week: February 21, 2024, at 8:00 am until February 28, 2024, at 8:00 pm

Swearing-in of elected candidates: April 17, 2024.

Deadlines:

Intent to Run Form: January 17, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

Candidate Information Survey: January 22, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

Referendum through petition: February 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

Referendum through the Assembly: February 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
