Voting Meetings

ALL Assembly Members are required to attend.

Voting Meetings are the only time that voting can take place, hence the name. Agenda items brought before the Assembly vary from funding RSO events, passing legislation to show our official support (or our official disapproval) of specific things, to confirmation hearings on paid WSA positions.

Non- Voting Meetings

General Assembly Members and Committee Chairs are required to attend.

A non-voting meeting is a less formal meeting where we bring in guest speakers, hear updates from our executive branch, or participate in activities as a group.

Spring 2024 Assembly Meeting Dates

Assembly Meetings are held in the Student Center Ballroom beginning at 5:30 on the listed dates.

All WMU Students are invited to participate and gain voting status after attending just 3 consecutive meetings.
