Dear WMU Community,

The Western Student Association (WSA) is the student government at Western Michigan University.  As the legitimate student representative body, we are honored and proud of the responsibility to effectively and efficiently represent and act in the collective interest of Western Michigan University Students. To the Bronco community, we hear you, and we see you. We will never stop fighting for you. 

In our efforts to be as transparent as possible, your student government is continuing to work on the items that were previously listed in our Blackout Statement. Below is a copy of the letter sent on by the Western Student Association cabinet members on behalf of all students. The WMU administration is in full support of our "Blackout Statement" and the Faculty and Staff Letter (posted below). Each college dean is making it their priority to send the two communications on top of a personalized letter of support out in the next few days. 

The Western Student Association will continue to work on the next steps listed in the "Blackout Statement" and we ask that you contact us with any improvements you may have to assist us with this process. These solutions and questions will be brought up to the administration.  As promised, we will be having a meeting with the President and his cabinet on Tuesday morning. 

We are committed to making actual steps that put students first.
