Conversations in Divided Times | Irshad Manji

Can we overcome our instincts to assign labels to each other before we’ve even had a conversation? Can we learn to embrace diverse viewpoints and explore perspectives that deeply challenge our own? Irshad Manji says yes, and she’ll break down how in a campus/community event—Conversations in Divided Times— planned for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21 on Sangren Plaza.

Manji will give a short talk and then lead a panelist discussion. The event is free, open to the public, and registration is encouraged to ensure compliance with COVID facility guidelines.
