WSA Faculty and Staff Letter

In our efforts to be as transparent as possible, your student government is continuing to work on the items that were previously listed in our Blackout Statement. Below is a copy of the letter sent on by the Western Student Association cabinet members on behalf of all students. The WMU administration is in full support of our "Blackout Statement" and the Faculty and Staff Letter (posted below). WSA Blackout Statement

The Western Student Association stands in solidarity with George Floyd, his family, and all of the protesters fighting to end systematic oppression. We do not stand for hatred, bigotry, or police brutality of any kind.

We acknowledge the injustices in our nation and we are committed to advocating for change at WMU. We challenge our Broncos and students of other universities to join in on the conversation as well.
