The allocations team still plans to hold a summer II allocations deliberation on Aug 14 at noon. We will accept budgets up to one week prior to the deliberation on Aug 7th. Please email them to wsa-vpallocations@wmich.edu or wsaac-vicechair@wmich.edu and contact us with further questions.

In our efforts to be as transparent as possible, your student government is continuing to work on the items that were previously listed in our Blackout Statement. Below is a copy of the letter sent on by the Western Student Association cabinet members on behalf of all students. The WMU administration is in full support of our "Blackout Statement" and the Faculty and Staff Letter (posted below). Each college dean is making it their priority to send the two communications on top of a personalized letter of support out in the next few days.

To the Bronco community, we hear you, and we see you. We will never stop fighting for you.

The Western Student Association stands in solidarity with George Floyd, his family, and all of the protesters fighting to end systematic oppression. We do not stand for hatred, bigotry, or police brutality of any kind.

We acknowledge the injustices in our nation and we are committed to advocating for change at WMU. We challenge our Broncos and students of other universities to join in on the conversation as well.
