WSA Commencement Accessories

Any member of the Western Student Association is eligible to receive a commencement accessory after serving for a minimum of two academic semesters, as determined by Western Michigan University, over the duration of the member’s time at WMU. If a student was part of one branch for two semesters but not in the same chamber, they will be eligible for the cord of the highest position they held in said branch. Students who were a member of more than one branch may be eligible for multiple accessories only if they served the minimum two semesters in each branch (ex. A student who served two semesters in the senate followed by two semesters on Cabinet is eligible to wear a cord and stole at commencement).
